On October 31st APECS Sweden’s Ex. Secretary, Ylva Sjöberg, will go to APECS Portugal’s workshop “How to be a polar Scientist for Dummies” in Faro, Portugal. The workshop is held in conjunction with the Portuguese Polar Science Conference and Ylva will participate in a discussion panel on how to work with early career scientist associations. This is a great chance for us to get to know how other national committees, not the least APECS Portugal, work and Ylva is very grateful and excited about this opportunity.
